Materials and Specifications

Cast Vinyl

We use premium cast vinyl from Avery Dennison and 3M — the only vinyls we trust for vehicle wrapping. Cast vinyl conforms to complex curves, resists shrinking, and carries a 7-year outdoor warranty. We never use cheap calendered vinyl for wraps.

Inks and Printing

All graphics are printed on our wide-format eco-solvent printers using UV-stable inks rated for 5+ years outdoor fade resistance. We laminate every wrap with a cast overlaminate film for additional UV and scratch protection.

Lamination

Every printed wrap is laminated with cast glossy or matte overlaminate. This protects against stone chips, UV fading, and fuel stains. Lamination extends the life of the wrap by 2-3 years and keeps colours vibrant.

Application

Wraps are applied in our temperature-controlled workshop using heat guns and squeegees. We remove handles, lights, and trim for edge-to-edge coverage. No visible seams, no bubbles, no shortcuts.

Van Wrap FAQs

How much does a van wrap cost in Newcastle?

Full van wraps start from around £1,440 for a standard panel van (e.g., Transit, Sprinter). Partial wraps start from £540. Vinyl lettering starts from £220. The final price depends on vehicle size, design complexity, and material choice. We provide fixed-price quotes.

How long does a van wrap last?

Premium cast vinyl wraps last 5-7 years with proper care. We use Avery and 3M vinyls with a 7-year manufacturer warranty. Lamination extends the life further by protecting against UV and abrasion. Fleet wraps typically last 4-5 years due to higher mileage and wear.

Will a wrap damage my van's paintwork?

No. Quality cast vinyl is designed to be removed without damaging factory paint. In fact, wraps protect your paintwork underneath. The only risk is with non-original or poorly repaired paint, which we assess before wrapping. Removal is straightforward and we offer this service too.

Can you wrap a leased van?

Yes, wrapping a leased van is very common and actually protects the paintwork. When the lease ends, we can remove the wrap cleanly, returning the van to its original condition. Check with your lease company — most permit vehicle wrapping.

Van wraps vs vinyl lettering — which should I choose?

Vinyl lettering is ideal if you need your name, phone number, and logo on the road for a low cost (from £220). Partial wraps give more visual impact with strategic colour panels (from £540). Full wraps turn your van into a full mobile billboard with maximum brand exposure (from £1,440). Read our detailed comparison: Van Wraps vs Vinyl Lettering.
