A-board pavement signs start from £75 including printed panels. Swinger signs (waterbase) range from £95-£150. Premium chalkboard A-boards cost £85-£120. All include custom printed graphics or chalkboard panels.
Newcastle City Council requires a pavement licence for A-boards on public footpaths. The licence costs around £100 per year. On private land, no licence is needed. We can advise on positioning and council requirements.
Our waterbase pavement signs can be filled with water or sand for stability in windy conditions. Traditional A-boards have a chain strut that provides some wind resistance. For very exposed locations, we recommend waterbase signs.
