Outdoors, Foamex performs well for short-to-medium terms — it is weather resistant and does not rot or rust, though on large exterior panels it can bow over long exposure where aluminium composite stays flat. We work with 3mm, 5mm and 10mm Foamex: 3mm for interiors and temporary use, 5mm as the standard for shop and office work, and 10mm where maximum strength is needed for large panels or high-traffic areas. Boards come in white as standard (best for colour reproduction) with black and colours available, printed with UV inks or faced with vinyl lettering, and finished with plain, drilled or hidden fixings to suit the surface.
